* STILL Counting .. third time’s a charm~

This is what I have been eating this past week. The pictures from my last go around ended March 7, 2008 which was a Friday, so this starts on Saturday. I do my weigh-ins on Friday Mornings, so I will end on Thursday, March 13, 2008

Saturday March 8, 2008

* I didn’t take pictures, nor did I keep track and count my points. It was this day that I posted my previous post and pushed myself to going out and purchase another notepad and continue with my counting and recording of what I eat. Yup.

Displayed – My dinner – Pita with 100g turkey, mayo, lettuce and honey garlic BBQ sauce, melba toast and Maple Walnut Yogurt “ice” cream for dessert and some Smeckers Chocolate and Caramel syrops.

Displayed – My dinner – 2 peppered chicken filets, oven baked, with 3 weight watchers whole wheat toast and honey garlic BBQ dipping sauce! I also had 2 nutri gain bars for snacks afterwards

Displayed – My lunch.. Pita with 100g of Chicken slices, and – My dinner .. I stopped at Sobies for some more #4012 Oranges MmmMMMMmm and ended up buying 6 home?made chocolate chip cookies and pretty much had that and 3 oranges for supper 🙂

Displayed – My breakfast – Weight Watcher’s size Whole Wheat toast, with peanut butter and honey. I was out all day and ate at Tim Hortons for lunch, and it was my wife’s birthday today for dinner – but, ate in – no pictures 🙂

>> 19 Flex points remained available – however, I should note that I didn’t count Saturday and probably went over by in excess of these unused flex points. I discovered dry Puffed Cereal (and it’s cheap!)

Days Twenty-four to Thirty, still trying to lose weight (Fri, Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur)

Sorry for delays … I am quite busy at the month-end time, and mid-month (for my offline work) and I accidentally uploaded my pictures to my laptop and deleted the pictures from my camera .. On my laptop, I deleted the pictures again, because I thought they were still in the camera. I assure everybody that I am still following my “diet” (at least counting the points), despite the slow posting in here and lack of pictures

Coffee, and Tim Horton’s Coffee, Pizza Hut for dinner
>> We had stuffed crust Tuscani Pizza, and I calculated it to be 11 points per 1/12 of a Large Pizza .. I basically wolved down half that pizza (We moved my father-in-law out of his apartment to the Personal Care Home today)

Days Twenty-One to Twenty Three, still trying to lose weight (Tues, Wed, Thur)

Yes: I’m still counting! (even though I haven’t been posting in this blog)

For the ease of speeding up the blogging of my daily meals .. I will now post several days at a time to catch up on things. This will become more evident over the next few months as I become increasingly more busy during my day job (income tax preparation, etc) and especially so around the 20th and around the last week of each month

Day 10 watching my weight …

2 Rice Cakes @1 pt each – 2 points
Tim Hortons Coffee w/Flavor Shot Butter Caramel – 2 points
Salad with Red Peppers, bacon bits, croutons, dressing, 50g turkey, parmesan cheese, cheddar cheese – 8 points
2 Whole Wheat toast with Peanut butter – 4 points

>> It’s a new week today – total 32 splurge points remain!

I am totally into this new Organic Field Greens Salad from Superstore over the regular garden salads I have been eating for the past couple of years!~ It’s a nice change! That whole container was $4.69 and it’s quite cheaper, and its expiry date seems to be twice as long as regular salad. PS: the noname Toasted Sesame vinegrette dressing is also quite tasty.

You need a good oil on your salad. Plus 8 cups of water per day. Plus fruit (which I lack in my diet)

Day Seven.

Breakfast Cereal Reeses Puffs – 8 points
Breakfast Premium Nature Blueberry Bagel – 6 points
Tim Hortons – Coffee with Butter Caramel Flavor Shot – 2 points
Dinner Cereal Reeses Puffs – 11 points
Dinner Premium Nature Blueberry Bagel – 6 points
Strawberry (extra generous squirts of Nestle’s Quik) Milk – 7 points

>> 41 points, over by 9 points
>> 13 splurge points remained – which, would have been reset today but I’ve postponed the official weigh in dates to Friday mornings now.

I have to get rid of that extra large family size box of Reeses Puffs and get back to a cheaper point cereal, like Cheerios .. which is 2 points per cup, where as this cereal was 3 points per 3/4 cup (but, Reeses Puffs is a tasty treat! :D)
