Combining basic facts and background with global perspectives, this three-volume set is dedicated to the Great Depression and includes primary source documents that bring history to life for students. Each volume includes 15-20 entries, ranging from 15 to 20 pages each, covering a specific issue or incident related to the Great Depression. Entries follow a standard format to facilitate comparison between entries and typically include an introduction; issue/incident summary; an exploration of different historical perspectives; a summary of key political, social and economic influences; a bibliography and sources for further research; and much more.American Revolution, the Cold War, the Holocaust, the Industrial Revolution, World War II and others. New sets will be published at a rate of approximately two per year.
