On October 3rd, donate $5 and wear jeans to help someone you love fight breast cancer.

Since its inception in 1996, Lee National Denim Day has adhered to a simple philosophy: one day, one cause, one cure®. In 12 years, that philosophy has become a mantra for millions and has made an impact Lee Jeans never dreamed possible.

It all started when several Lee Jeans employees realized that each of them, in one form or another, had been touched by breast cancer. An everyday conversation sparked an idea and led to the creation of Lee National Denim Day, which has become one of the largest single-day fundraisers nationwide for breast cancer.

This year Chandra Wilson, star of ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy and Tim Daly, star of ABC’s Private Practice, have been named the 2008 ambassadors for Lee National Denim Day.

The 2008 beneficiaries of National Denim Day are EIF (Entertainment Industry Foundation Initiatives) and NBCCF (National Breast Cancer Coalition Fund).

Not Your Daughter’s Jeans

Pairs Up with Nordstrom and Susan G. Komen for the Cure to
Help the Fight Against Breast Cancer

Starting May 1st until April 30, 2009, Not Your Daughter’s Jeans will make a $1 donation to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, based upon women trying on a pair of Not Your Daughter’s Jeans at any Nordstrom store nationwide. Each time a women tries on a pair of jeans, No Purchase Necessary; NYDJ will donate $1, with a guaranteed minimum donation of $500,000 to SGK. This is an expansion of NYDJ and Susan G. Komen for the Cure’s partnership in October 2007.
