KARACHI: Liaquat National Hospital staff nurse Shalin, whose husband cut off her nose and lacerated her forehead, has been admitted to LNH after medico-legal formalities were completed at Jinnah hospital Tuesday.

According to JPMC emergency head nurse Naseem, Shalin was brought to JPMC after her husband had cut her nose off with a scissor and attacked her face and forehead. Shalin told JPMC staff that she had put on her uniform and was about to leave her house when her husband, who has a substance abuse problem, demanded money from her. He then grabbed her back as she was in the door and attacked her with the scissors.
