A traditional meditation cushion, our round silk zafu has a luxurious, smooth silk cover and pleated sides. Each zafu has a sturdy handle sewn tightly on one side. These zafus are filled with organic buckwheat hulls. The buckwheat hulls provide a firm cushionioning, and can be added to or removed, to adjust the cushioning, through a small side zipper. The outer cover is made of a finely woven, smooth, high quality silk that is very smooth. The zafus have a smaller zippered opening, neatly hidden between pleats, that can be used to remove the cover and wash it.
