Congratulations to Ali Vincent – NBC’s “The Biggest Loser” Season 5: Couples Champion!

ali-vincent-130377_2067.jpgCongratulations to Ali Vincent who won last night’s finale and became the first female and biggest loser of season 5.

Did you watch this show?

I watched the show. In fact, I can’t recall missing an episode! I’m glad Roger didn’t win .. although, I was secretly hoping he would come in third – and not second – so they wouldn’t be dragging the final weigh in on and on and on asking: will it be a man? or will it be a woman? Obviously, the best person won! I’m also glad that Mark did not win the secondary prize and quite please with both winners this year! Quite frankly, he lost both mine and my wife’s respect on that episode where he went home to his family, and smacked the food out of his child’s hands and threw it in the garbage. Yep! Glad he lost! And, same with Dan too! 🙂

Million Pound Challenge

What I enjoyed most about watching The Biggest Loser: Couples, was the mention of the Million Pound Challenge on the very first episode. I immediately signed up and registered, and was receiving daily tips via email throughout the entire season. The Million Pound Challenge was a challenge to America to lose 1 million pounds during the course of the show “The Biggest Loser: Couples.” MSN Health & Fitness were posting the daily tips on a special site and they were quite interesting! I have them all saved and will try to recap them when I have time some time in May 2008, or as time permits. The links provided in the emails are defunct now – but, between MSN and NBC I don’t want to just post them without some type of attribution or permission… at least not yet 🙂 I’ll probably just compile those tips on a special post!

Regardless whether you are a Biggest Loser fan or not .. if you want some great health and fitness tips .. check out Bob Harper or Jillian Michaels sites – which, you can find on the NBC site.
