Goodbye Lesly and Thank-You
I would like to publicly thank Lesly Maranan for her fine work maintaining the Battling Cancer blog since mid-October 2007. I believe she did a GREAT job writing for this blog and I would like to thank her for being part of the HART-Empire Network.
Unfortunately, for personal reasons .. she had asked to resign from this position as a full-time blogger and I have accepted. I will not be going to explain her reasons and leave it up to her.
Perhaps, if she is able, or willing .. we might see some Guest Post Articles from Lesly in the future!
Lesly .. You will remain to be a ‘contributor’ here at the Battling Cancer blog. If you ever wanted to guest post articles in this blog, you are welcome to just log in and do just that! If you need or want any support from the Battling Cancer blog, or wish to promote other cancer related activities or events – just let me know!
The about page of Lesly Maranan described Lesly this way …
Professionally, Lesly has spent the last ten years as a research scientist in the fields of cancer cell biology and chemotherapeutics while pursuing an alternate career as a journalist, writer, and educator.
This Battling Cancer blog, I believe, was Lesly’s first “full-time blogging” position .. and I will DEFINITELY say Lesly can add “Blogger” to her list of skills on her resume. She has left us with some great posts, such as these:
Feel free to browse our Archives and see all of Lesly’s posts between October 2007 and February 2008.
What’s Next For The BATTLING CANCER Blog?
Well .. effective March 1, 2008 (that’s today!) I have hired a new blogger to take over this Battling Cancer blog, and we will be back to regularly posting articles at least once every weekday .. starting Monday!
I think you are going to really like this new blogger – I did!
Sometime this weekend, I will be placing the face of our new blogger in the top left “About” section, and after that .. well, I invite this new blogger to just start and introduce herself to all our Battling For Health readers and hopefully, tell us a little more about herself!
In the meantime …
