Happy New Year’s!

Happy New Year’s to all Battling Cancer readers!  My apologies for being so quiet around here lately; my husband was hospitalized sometime before Christmas and the room where we were staying was sadly devoid of wi-fi.  Luckily, he’s recovering well and now we’re back at home and into a normal routine again — well, normal for us, anyway 🙂

Our extended hospital stay gave us both a unique perspective of what it’s like to be a patient, and I’ll be discussing that more in the future.  In the meantime, I have hundreds of emails to catch up on — best wishes to you this New Year’s Day!

  1. Since my husband was on a liquid diet on Christmas day, all we had was hot cocoa — at least I didn’t have to cook! 🙂

  2. Well, I’m glad your husband is all okay now! Happy New Year to both of you!

Did you at least have some the “Christmas” dinners ?? I’ve got LOTS of leftover Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Corn and Stuffing (well, I might have eaten all of the stuffing by now).. I’ll just ZipLoc it into a file and Email it over to ya! 😀
